| Welcome to the Magic Bottle of Dr. Rundas This is a web based, or browser based maze game constructed from HTML only. You will not find bogus java, perl, flash, or shockwave to slow you down or lock up your browser here. The object of the game is to find the hidden key that will open the bottle and make your escape. During the course of the quest you will embark on a great journey with many surprises and hidden treasures. The game itself is pretty much self explanatory, you move from room to room by clicking on objects like doors or cave tunnels to move ahead, all though many other objects found in the game will also lead you to other rooms some may not be where you would care to be and can be dangerous miss steps. There is a compass found on some pages at the top right of the browser that by clicking will lead you back to a logical starting point based on where you are in the maze so you may set your bearings and retrace your steps. You may also use the Back button on your browser to back step, and the Bookmark function of you browser to hold your place till you return to continue play. The original game went online in 1997 as a text based maze game executed with HTML and was greatly updated in 2005 with the addition of many more graphic elements and enhancements. This new version is best viewed with a computer and a monitor, and was written for the Netscape browser, 17 inch monitor at 1024 x 768 pixels, operation from a modem speed of 56K or DSL. Slower modem speeds may take too long to load the images and the CD-ROM version may be your only option in this case. Either way we hope you enjoy your journey and have a safe adventure.
